The first tomatoes of the season came from Italy and were paired with grilled mackerel, sprinkled with crumbs of something I've forgotten but that was delicious.
We ate them after an excellent Aperol Spritz at Brunswick House, where the ceiling is crammed with light fittings. Hanging over the dining room, they are all for sale, as are the chairs and tables which is fitting for a restaurant in an architectural salvage shop.
