Talk about seasons of mist.. I'm always looking for fog to photograph but there's never much in central London. Hampshire, on the other hand, seems to be fog's new favourite hangout with a blanket descending recently in the first proper fog of autumn that just got thicker and thicker.
It made for the perfect October walk through the woods, past a beautiful house and along a canal that in the pursuit of a particular shot I may or may not have accidentally slipped into.

These are lovely photos. I especially like the glimpse of the beautiful, fog-shrouded house through the trees - there is a definite story going on there!
Woah -- now this is some fog! The view through the trees to the house (mansion?!) is especially great.
